My House Fitness Plano takes a holistic approach to personal training and fitness. Unlike gyms and mega-fitness centers, we do not focus on a single activity and are not just a general workout gym. Each person is different and has their own unique goals and requires a custom workout approach. We understand the union and influence exercise and diet have on each other. Bud and Caryn Terrell – Owners

Bud & Caryn Terrell have lived in Frisco since 2005.  Bud spent 25+ years in corporate America mostly in engineering and supply chain roles with several Fortune 500 companies, and Caryn focused on raising their two children and being a pre-school teacher and director.   Their two children are both in college pursuing degrees in Business and Biochemistry.

Bud and Caryn’s passion and goal is to educate and enable people to take the necessary steps to improve their health, eat better and smarter, and exercise.  They want their clients to take the necessary steps to maintain their bodies and feel good about themselves.   The both have seen personal success with the My House Fitness approach – Bud has lost over 40 lbs and Caryn over 25 lbs.    They say, “We finally found a program that works and is sustainable.  But it is not just the weight loss: we feel better than we have in years with improved sleep quality, no longstanding maintenance medications, the best blood work in years, and more energy.”

 

Mark – Personal Trainer

Mark Bio Picture

Mark graduated from Texas State with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science in addition to Business Management. He played NCAA football before transitioning into strength and conditioning training where he specialized in bio-mechanics movements. Mark has close to 10 years of experience training youth (from 8 to 18 years old) and adult athletes and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Mark focuses his efforts with individuals and small group classes ranging from everyday business professionals to collegiate and professional athletes. Mark believes in “Improving Performance, Preventing Injury, and Promoting Longevity.”

Michelle Johnston - Trainer Picture

Having three awesome and active boys gives me so much drive to be the best that I can be and lead a healthy and balanced life through fitness and nutrition.  I’ve grown up playing sports and working out in the gym most of my teen and adult life.  However, the struggle became very real when I had to juggle family life, work, and maintain a healthy body.  After taking about 8 years off from my engineering career, I found a need to not only be able to keep my own self in shape but more importantly to lead others to be able to do the same.  I completed my Master Level Training through LifeTime Fitness Academy and I am NASM certified in Personal Training, with specialties in Corrective Exercise, Sports Performance and Behavioral Change.  My main focus is on individuals and small groups, in which I help to balance goal setting, personal time, time with family & friends, and create the importance to invest in one self, all while building confidence and strength.
